Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and [company legal name] ("we", "us"), the operator of the ZonRival service (the "Service"). By creating an account, connecting the Service to an AI app, or buying credits, you agree to these terms. If you use the Service for a business, you agree on its behalf.

1. What the Service does

The Service provides tools that AI assistants (such as Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor) can call over the Model Context Protocol to research Amazon listings and Shopify stores: listing audits, review analysis, keyword comparisons, search rankings, product details and store catalogs. Results come from third-party data sources and automated analysis.

2. Your account

  • You sign in with your email address. Keep your API key and your email account secure — anyone with your API key or a connected app can use your credits.
  • You can disconnect apps and replace your API key at any time from your account page.
  • You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract.

3. Credits

  • Each tool call uses the number of credits shown on our website. If a call fails, its credits are returned automatically.
  • New accounts receive a one-time allowance of free trial credits. One trial per person; creating accounts to get more trial credits isn't allowed.
  • Credits don't expire while your account exists and roll over between billing periods. They have no cash value, can't be transferred, and are removed if your account is deleted.
  • We may change credit prices or per-tool costs for the future; changes don't affect credits you already hold.

4. Payments, subscriptions and refunds

  • Payments are processed by our payment provider, Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record for your purchase. Its terms also apply to the payment itself, and your receipt and invoices come from it.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. Each renewal adds your plan's credits to your balance. You can cancel anytime from Manage billing on your account page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep the credits you've received.
  • One-time top-ups add credits immediately.
  • Refunds: if something went wrong, contact us within 14 days of a charge at support. We'll refund unused credits from that purchase. Credits already used aren't refundable, except where the law requires otherwise. Nothing here limits any rights you have under consumer law.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • resell, redistribute or build a competing dataset from Service output in bulk;
  • attempt to bypass credit metering, rate limits or security measures, or access other users' accounts;
  • use the Service to fetch sites you aren't permitted to access, to attack or overload any system, or for anything unlawful;
  • use the Service in a way that violates Amazon's, Shopify's or any marketplace's policies that apply to you.

We may limit or suspend accounts that break these rules.

6. Data sources and AI output

  • Amazon data comes from a licensed third-party provider; Shopify data comes from the public product catalog stores publish. Data can be incomplete, delayed or wrong.
  • Scores, keyword suggestions and complaint themes are automated analysis, and the text your AI writes from them is generated by your AI app, not by us. Review it before acting on it — you're responsible for what you publish and the decisions you make.
  • We aren't affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Amazon, Shopify, Anthropic or OpenAI. Their names are used only to describe compatibility.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service running but don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change or remove tools. If we permanently shut down the Service, we'll give at least 30 days' notice by email and refund unused credits from purchases made in the previous 90 days.

8. Disclaimer

Except as stated in these terms and to the extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of data.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits or sales), and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

10. Ending your use

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your account page. We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms; unless the closure is for abuse or fraud, we'll refund unused purchased credits.

11. Changes to these terms

If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date and notify account holders by email at least 14 days before they apply. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction], without affecting any mandatory consumer protections of the country you live in.
